The idea of a "headless" Drupal has been around since 2014, but with the availability of robust REST interfaces in Drupal 8, Drupal implementers have started to create rich JavaScript front ends to Drupal that replace its conventional HTML user interface. This session will survey existing headless Drupal implementations and explore how this architecture may work for Islandora repositories.
